External hard drive via USB but wireless Imation
New, different, but very, very, very expensive. The new Imation Pro WX Wireless USB Drive is an external hard drive and wireless. Although of course, everything is rather tricky.
This trick is called adapter, external, is connected to the computer via USB and has a size slightly larger than a flash drive. As for the transfer, say, up to 15 MB / s ... which is something less than they usually offer external hard drives connected directly to a USB cable. We lose some power but we will win in comfort.

And lose in price, since it is expensive: $ 450, almost 300 euros at current exchange rates for the only model now available, 1.5 TB capacity and 3.5 inch format (dimensions of 180 × 45 × 138 mm).
Expensive, very expensive and does not offer anything unusual, except of course the idea of wireless. I would be much better WiFi NAS (n if possible) integrated, so you just plug into the mainstream ... et voilà. But be honest, I see little future in this Pro WX Wireless USB Drive Imation
