The Taiwanese manufacturer enhances the multimedia aspect of the new Aspire, who will be most powerful graphics solutions than previous models (we had not yet seen the GDDR3 memory on Aspire), multimedia commands for control of digital content, which among other things Acer sapphire blue Empowering Key, and support for next-generation broadband, WiMAX.
Aspire 2930
The small line of Aspire, with 12.1-inch display with WXGA resolution and CrystalBrite technology, is the only one not to use dedicated graphics solutions. Based on Mobile Intel GM45 Express chipset, relies on Intel GMA X4500HD IGP chip with shared memory, which are backed up to 4GB of DDR2 memory and hard disk with SATA interface. The new Intel Core 2 Duo Penryn 45nm manufacturing process with reduced TDP and will enhance the autonomy of the subnotebook, combining perfect mobility, power and multitasking thanks to the Intel 64.

Aspire 4930
Far different paste the Acer Aspire 4930 14.1-inch display with 1280x800 pixels WXGA CrystalBrite from and signed Nvidia dedicated graphics solutions. Although the option for the Mobile Intel GM45 indicates the presence of solutions with integrated graphics Intel GMA X4500HD, the top-performing models will make use of cards Nvidia GeForce 9300M GS, low-end, or GeForce 9600M GS with GDDR3 memory, which will provide advanced multimedia performance.

In particular, the GPU Nvidia PureVideo technology will enable a higher quality playback of digital content, already excited by the screen with CrystalBrite technology. Greater attention also to the sound quality, with a second-generation Dolby Home Theater. The Aspire 4930 can install up to 4GB of DDR2 memory and use hard drives with Serial ATA interface.
Aspire 5930 and 7730
The 15.4 and 17 inch models from 5920 and 7720 have ever had a great success. To detect the legacy we find the new Aspire 5930 and 7730, similar in characteristics. The biggest news affects the look and feel. In addition to solutions of low-end Nvidia GeForce 9300M GS graphics, fact sheets are equipped with GDDR3 memory, the Nvidia GeForce 9600M GT, which will further improve the multimedia and gaming performance over older 8600M GS GT/9500M.

The Aspire 5930 and 7730 will be the only models to be provided, optionally, Blu-Ray drive, and there will obviously be able to use HDMI outputs for high-definition digital content on external displays the higher resolution. Both series will have the new sound system second generation Dolby Home Theater, and may mount up to 4GB of RAM.

The storage system instead will vary: the Aspire 5930 will mount one high-capacity SATA drives, but will attend an eSATA port for connecting external drives at high speed, while the Aspire 7730 will offer support for RAID, combining the performance of two disks simultaneously.
