Always attentive to the innovations, the well-known Taiwanese manufacturer is among the first to enter to list some new notebook models, called Acer Aspire 7560, 5560 and 4560, based on the AMD platform with the new Sabine APU Llano.

Acer Aspire 7560, 5560 and 4560 are three new mainstream notebook, suited for use at 360 °, from entertainment to the small office and multimedia are among the first notebooks to be based on the new AMD platform with Sabine APU Llano just presented . The new laptops are very nice and are presented with a clean, linear design, a thin profile and excellent construction. The surfaces have raised patterns that avoid the accumulation of dirt, dust and annoying and unsightly fingerprints on the cover and on the keyboard.

The base includes a typical keyboard island, which Acer calls FineTip, with numeric keypad. The very elegant colors available ranging from black to blue to red. The three notebooks are distinguished from each other primarily for the diagonal of the display is 17.3 inches at 1600 x 900 pixels for the Acer Aspire 7560, Aspire 5560 15.6-inch and 14 inch for Acer 4560, the latter two both with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels.

All displays have the glossy finish Acer CineCrystal, they are in 16:9 format and LED backlighting. Also, as you can see, all three models support full HD resolutions to 1080p (Acer Aspire 7560) and HD 720p (5560 AcereAspire and 4560). The configurations are common to all versions and include a large number of combinations, not all of which will of course be available in all markets. The APU will be available then a dual core 3000M-E2 (1 MB L2 cache, 1.80 GHz, 2.40 GHz Core Turbo, support for DDR3 1333 MHz and 35 W TDP) and A4-3300m (2 MB L2 cache, 1.90 GHz, 2:50 Turbo GHz Core support for DDR3 1333 MHz and 35 W TDP) and quad-core A6-3400m (4 MB L2 cache, 1.40 GHz, 2.30 GHz Core Turbo, support for DDR3 1333 MHz and 35 W TDP) and A8-3500M (4 MB L2 cache, 1.50 GHz, 2.40 GHz Core Turbo, support for DDR3 1333 MHz and 35 W TDP).

As we know AMD's APU also incorporate a graphics processor then, according to the APU fitted, we find the AMD Radeon HD 6380M, Radeon 6480M, 6520M or 6620M to, all equipped with 256 MB of dedicated RAM, Unified Video Decoder 3 (UVD3 ) hardware for the decoding of compressed HD video formats and support for OpenCL 1.1, OpenGL 3.1, DirectX 11, Shader model 5.0 and the technology OpenEXR High Dynamic-Range (HDR).

The amount of RAM DDR3 1333 MHz is 4 GB, expandable to 8 GB, and storage may be one hard disk with cuts from 250 to 750 GB. Very nice networking, which includes Gigabit LAN, WiFi 802.11n and Bluetooth 3.0 + 2.1 + EDR, or HS (according to country of sale). Other features include the USB 2.0 (USB 3.0 for the largest model, the Acer Aspire 7560), a multiformat memory card reader, mini-jack for Line In and Out, HDMI digital video output and an analog VGA webcam Acer Crystal eye with a resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels, an optical drive type Super Multi DVD i (Blu-ray models for Acer Aspire 5560 and 7560) and a rechargeable lithium-ion 48 WHr 6-cell and 4400 mAh, which should ensure a good battery life, especially the model with smaller displays, the Acer Aspire 4560, while the diagonal notebook is perhaps better to buy a larger battery.

Then let us remember that in addition to these versions, which have integrated graphics processor, will be available the versions marked with the letter G in the queue to the acronym, give the notebooks with dedicated graphics card. In particular Acer Aspire 4560G and 7560G will be able to count on the AMD Radeon HD 6650M or Radeon HD 6470M, while Acer Aspire 5560G will enjoy the benefits of Dual Graphics, which allows to use simultaneously integrated into the processor along with that of the APU dedicated graphics card, in a kind of asymmetric CrossFireX. Therefore, depending on the combination of the graphics processor included in the APU selected and dedicated graphics card you will get a different name to indicate the solution Dual Graphics. By the time Italy will be marketed only the Acer Aspire 5560 and 5560G models with the following configurations:

The official price is 499 € including VAT for the first version and 599 € for the second. Both notebooks will be marketed in Italy since August 2011, while for others it is not yet scheduled a date, or price and configuration.
