Acer offers users more demanding and not settle for a simple netbook to work out and home, but they need to go a few steps ahead of them and that's why the Acer TravelMate 6493 features 3G, a laptop computer screen by LED backlit 14.1-inch and a maximum resolution of 1280 × 800.
As well the name suggests, one of the main features of 3G are its TravelMate 6493 that found connections between WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR and a built-in 3G module to use your telephone network operator.
But as said, is a computer for users who need power and that is why we find inside an Intel Core 2 Duo 2.26 GHz, 4 GB of RAM and a 320GB hard drive capacity. On the other hand, if you're at home and want to use it as a main computer, you will connect to an external monitor with both VGA and DVI output-D with HDCP support.
If you wondered what is the autonomy that could reach the Acer TravelMate 6493 3G, but the truth is that does not disappoint and that is what the company says, because it can reach up to 7.5 hours of work. Finally, Windows Vista will be its operating system preinstalled
