Asus releases its first netbook equipped with the new dual-core processor Atom N550. This Asus Eee PC 1015PEM.

Intel yesterday announced the availability of the first processor equipped Netbook Atom N550 dual core and Asus was quick to present their model . It's called Asus Eee PC 1015PEM and will immediately be on sale at the list price of 349 euros.

Pineview Atom processor dual-core 45nm product miniaturization and is able to simulate four core logic technology thanks to HyperThreading. The benefit in terms of performance is immediately visible, allowing you to play movies in High Definition 720p without any slowdown.

Other technical features include 1015PEM Asus Eee PC 2GB of DDR3 RAM and the usual range of wired and wireless networking solutions.

Four colors available: red, black, white and pink.
