After the summer break, Asus finally puts on the field on netbook price for the month of September, in which news are the new Eee PC 904HD. Pending some surprises for the coming months, involving the introduction of a new range of netbooks professional, yet to be discovered (recall the recent revelation of the model Eee PC S101), reorganized the ideas on the Italian proposal for Asus Eee netbook with a Quick overview.

Asus Eee PC 701

The founder of the Asus Eee PC family continues to remain on the market with the 4GB version (also known as Asus Eee PC 4G). Asus Eee PC 701, originally available with Xandros Linux operating system, is available for some time even with Windows XP Home Edition.

Has a display WVGA 800x480 pixels, and use the Intel Celeron M 353 to 900MHz and 512MB of DDR2 memory. Storage is managed by a 4GB SSD drive, while connectivity there is a specific module for WiFi 802.11b / g and Ethernet controllers for LAN 10/100Mbps Wired.

Available in four different colors (Galaxy Black, Pearl White, Blush Pink, Lush Green), is proposed for a price of $ 299 Linux-based version, and 329 Euros with OS Windows XP (both inclusive of VAT).

Asus Eee PC 900

Netbook 8.9-inch display resolution of 1024x600 pixels WSVGA, Asus Eee PC 900 has the same processor used by the Eee PC 701: The Celeron M 353 to 900MHz. It uses, however, 1GB of DDR2 memory, and most capacious SSD drives, 4GB chip divided into several modules. The Linux version benefits from an external drive 16GB (20GB total capacity), while the model uses a Windows-based module to 8GB (12GB total capacity). The range of connectivity remains the same as the 7-inch model, while the sensor 0.3MP webcam and against 1.3MegaPixels Eee PC 701. The retail price of Asus Eee PC 900, with both Linux and Windows operating system, is 319 euros including VAT and is available in Pearl White or Galaxy Black.

Asus Eee PC 900 16G

This is a particular variation of the model Asus Eee PC 900 with 16GB SSD drive for the Linux version is that XP. Apart from the storage compartment, the technical components is identical to the original model, different from it, however, exploits the special treatment of the chassis Infusion "IMF", which covers it with an elegant glossy. Asus Eee PC 901

Evolution of Asus Eee PC 900 8.9-inch, is based on Intel Atom platform, and uses Atom N270 processor from 1.6GHz. Similar to previous series, retains the same price for the version with Linux OS and Windows XP, using a smaller capacity for the model with the Windows operating system, which must consider the cost for the license: 20GB capacity is the total Eee PC 901 with Linux, and 16GB version for Windows-based.

Eee PC 901 can rely on a wider range of connectivity and modern, including both the Bluetooth, WiFi with the specifications of the latest generation 802.11a/b/g/n. The battery risen from 4 to 6 cells, prolonging the effective independence of the Netbook. The cost is 399 euros including VAT. E 'is available with color Pearl White, Galaxy Black, which both dealt with the technology of polishing Infusion IMR. Included in the price of Eee Storage, 20GB of online storage for storing data.

Asus Eee PC 904HD

New in September, is a special variant of the model to 10 inches, which meets the needs of users who need a full keyboard. Despite being equipped with a 8.9-inch WSVGA display it, the chassis is the same used for the models from 10 inches, and enables the integration of a keyboard with larger ones. The ques-tion does not belong to the category Netbook Atom based, and uses a Celeron M 353 processor from 900MHz. Despite being depleted in some accessories (connectivity and webcam) compared to Asus Eee PC 901, has special features like the use of a storage compartment traditional magnetic platters, and not of SDD with NAND Flash memory, which translates into a capacity Ben's 160GB, 1GB (Windows) and 2GB (Linux) of RAM. Asus Eee PC 1000H

The display has a diagonal of 10 inches real with WSVGA resolution of 1024x600 pixels. Platform is based on Atom processor by 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270, assisted by 1GB of DDR2 memory. Model rich accessory uses Bluetooth connectivity, and 802.11a/b/g WiFi, and is equipped with webcams from 1.3MegaPixels and polishing Infusion IMR. The hard drive model offered in Italy is to 160GB, and the battery is 6 cells. Asus Eee PC 1000H is available at a price of 449 euros including VAT, in Pearl White or Galaxy Black colors, and is the only model lineup Italian only option to get Windows XP Home Edition operating system. Included in the price of the service Eee Storage with 10GB of online space.

Asus Eee Box
With the price of September, Asus finally released the Eee Box B202 nettop, based on Atom platform, which uses the same Intel Atom processor N270 at 1.6GHz to the mobile version. The system is equipped with 1GB of DDR2 memory, while the hard disk capacity of 80GB has supplied.

The connectivity provided by the first model of Eee Box Italian, available with either black discolouration "Urban Metropolis" white "White Peony", including a specific module 802.11a/b/g/n WiFi with the latest generation, and the Ethernet controller Gigabit LAN. As already announced by the previous news, Eee Box B202 has a DVI-I output, four USB 2.0 ports and an integrated 5in1 Card Reader. Included in the price ($ 249 U.S.) is the base, keyboard and mouse, USB interface, and the operating system Windows XP Home.

The nettop in question can also count on the Express Gate technology, to launch the system in only 7 seconds and functions can be used for basic multimedia and connectivity.

Recall that all belong to the range Netbook Asus Eee PC are covered by manufacturer's warranty of two years, but do not have the option Kasko, giving the notebook lineup.
