Desknote Sens G25: portable 19-inch Samsung
n the second half of the year, witnessing the launch of various models of laptop computers with LCD screen between 19 "and 20". Among those, already published in invoking news, we may recall the 'HP Pavilion HDX, l' Acer Aspire 9920 ol 'LG S900 XNOR: their main vocation is the entertainment and multimedia, an area where it will be appreciated especially in combination with a home theater, to enjoy your favorite movie with a cinematic sound.
South Korea's Samsung Electronics was able to anticipate this trend, presented in September 2005, the Sens M70 portable computer, a mammoth desktop replacement, with a detachable display with DVI port to be placed on a support base independent. The provision of laptop computers with 19-inch Samsung, however, is destined to grow in number, since the launch of a new desktop-replacement, the Desknote Sens G25, equipped with an LCD panel from excellent (1000:1 contrast and 300cd/m2 of brightness). According to early rumors, the Desknote G25, designed for domestic use only as a replacement or alternative to their desktop PCs, will be reserved, at least initially, only the Korean market, with availability starting at the end of July and at a cost of equivalent of 1089 U.S. dollars.

Featuring a glossy black, the Sens G25 complement one SATA2 320GB storage and, between the interfaces, seven USB 2.0 ports. Currently the information available to us are still limited, but we can anticipate that the Desknote will be equipped with an ATI graphics card and Intel Core 2 Duo, keyboard with numeric kaypad and power supply, just as the desktop computer at home.
