Lenovo ThinkPad W500 and W700 are available in the U.S.
The latest mobile workstation are called fimate Lenovo ThinkPad W500 and W700, both updated to the new platform Centrino 2. The desktop replacement 17-inch ThinkPad W700, has already been covered a few days ago one of our depth, where we have listed the technical characteristics and its innovative features. W700 will be equipped in its base configuration with an Intel Core 2 Duo processor T9400, supported by 4GB of DDR3 memory and a 320GB hard drive. The art department is based on a professional card Nvidia Quadro FX 2700 with 512 MB of dedicated memory, and we underline the presence of a Wacom digitizer support to the artistic design.

For those looking for portability and compactness instead, you can contact the ThinkPad W500, the professional workstation with a 15.4-inch WSXGA +, with a processor (up to) Intel Core 2 Duo T9600 at 2.8GHz, 4GB of DDR3 memory (up to 8GB) and storage from 320GB. Running Windows Home Premium, the W500 can count on ATI's Mobility FireGL V5700 graphics card with 512 MB of memory and a 6-cell battery, for long work sessions and professional graphics applications.
