Yesterday, in New York, Samsung unveiled a new series of laptops with 11.6-inch displays to 15.6 inches. We talk about the new Samsung Series 3, with Sandy Bridge processors or APU Llano.

Our colleagues at Engadget and Liliputing have had the opportunity to look closely, first, the new Samsung 3 Series laptops. For Engadget, the fledgling series represents a range of elegant, sober, dedicated to high-end market. Featuring a brushed aluminum finish, the Samsung 3 Series notebooks offer a stable and large keyboard with a touchpad ergonomic. The models based on Intel processors Sandy Bridge and Huron River exploit a matte LCD screen.

The others are equipped with an APU (Accelerated Processing Unit) on AMD Llano Sabine, as the version equipped with a 15.6-inch display with APU AMD A4 glossy (shiny). Brad Liliputing, however, stresses that the ultraportable 12.1-inch Samsung Series 3 has a removable battery. It also adds that the models have a battery with a diagonal sostibuibile, but also on the other hand, no optical drive 12.1-inch model, which for this reason is more subtle. The same configuration is expected to be the smaller version, with a 11.6-inch display.

Regarding connectivity, the Samsung Series 3 has an HDMI port, USB ports with at least one USB 3.0 and chiclet keyboard with fingerprint reader in the 15.6-inch model. Widi technology will be integrated to provide the user the ability to view digital content stored on your laptop even on a compatible TV (or connected to a suitable device) wirelessly. Samsung 15.6-inch Series 3 is the declination to $ 819 more expensive, with an Intel Core i7 quad-core Sandy Bridge.

Version 12.1-inch Core i3 and 2GB of RAM will retail for $ 749. The technical specifications of the new Samsung Series 3 have not been made ​​official in a complete and may therefore undergo some changes before the launch date, set for August / September.
