Gateway P-6301 and P-6822: 17 inch cheap laptop
Gateway has announced today the launch of two new notebook, P-6301 and P-6822, belonging to the category of 17-inch desktop replacement rated digital entertainment is now available on the retail market. They will provide, with the large panoramic display, a significant added value for all users interested in multimedia and gaming or simply to work more comfortably in the office. The new Gateway laptops are also a good alternative for those looking for a rugged laptop with next-generation hardware in a pleasing design.
Gateway P-6310 is equipped with an Intel Pentium Dual Core T2310 at 1.46GHz, backed by 1GB of memory storage and a 160GB (5400 rpm). The model Gateway P-6822, however, is based on Intel Core 2 Duo processor with a 250GB storage. Both notebooks feature an integrated graphics chip Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100 (Mobile Intel GM965 Express Chipset), which operates a 17-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 1440 x 900, and a DVD DL.
As for the networking and the availability of interfaces, both have a wireless LAN and a wide range of ports and slots including mention the presence of 3 and a USB card reader 5in-1, which accompany it, only version P-6822, an HDMI connector and a 1.3-Mpixel webcam. Gateway P Series presents operating system Windows Vista Home Premium and a weight of about 3.7 kg with a 6-cell battery. At a price of $ 799, respectively, and $ 949, the Gateway P-6301 and P-6822 will be available on the U.S. market starting next October 14th.
