HP Compaq 2230: 12-inch Centrino 2
Muted, HP has released a new notebook this week, intended for users with special needs business-end ultra-mobile. HP Compaq 2230s has a 12-inch screen and weighs just over 1.8kg. It will be based on new Intel Centrino 2 with Intel GMA X4500HD integrated graphics subsystem connectivity and Wi-Fi 802.11n standard on every model. The embedded processors, of course, will have a Front Side Bus of 1066MHz, the model performance under a 2.26GHz version quicker to 2.53GHz.
The basic configuration will cost $ 999 with CPU Inte Core 2 Duo 1.8GHz of past generations, coupled with 1GB of memory and a 120GB hard drive. Also a DVD burner and Windows XP operating system that can optionally be chosen alternatively at OS Windows Vista. The HP Compaq 2230s Centrino 2 equipped with a cheaper cost of $ 1249 has an Intel Core 2 Duo 2.26GHz, 2GB of memory and 160GB storage.
All models support 4GB of memory and a hard disk up to 320GB of capacity. Though there is no information about it, the first versions will be available in the near future, but for the moment only in America. We do not know if HP Compaq 2230s will cross the boundaries of the Italian market.
