HP Firefly, the future of Voodoo
The Firebird will not be the only computer gamers that will see at CES at the hands of HP and its Voodoo brand. Of course, the only HP Firefly is currently a technology demonstration that will not be for sale.
Despite that, this laptop has some interesting concepts, among them the position of his unconventional trackpad and the incorporation of a second auxiliary display integrated with the principal. Portable clear call to a "bug" of more than seven kilos is perhaps a bit exaggerated.
The main screen of the HP Firefly has a size of 17 inches and a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, while high school, located in the main, is 4.3 inches and offers a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, probably too high for power see text in comfort.
The other highlight is the trackpad, which is located under the keyboard, as usual in laptops, but with this, on the right side, which is usually the keypad. The trackpad is multitáctil and allows multi-finger gestures. On it, a series of dedicated keys allow us to control the playback of music and video.
Equipped with an Intel Core 2 Extreme Quad 2.4 GHz, HP Firefly performance draws you to its 4 GB of RAM, the 250GB hard drive and the two graphics cards ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3870 running in CrossFire mode.
As a final interesting point, the computer's webcam has a night vision so that we can make the video but no light in the room where we are using. Clearly, for now, we have to make do with dream with him, but I am sure many of these ideas to other comparable models from this manufacturer.
