HP Pavilion dv9800 has been issued in Italy in April 2008 and can be considered the last real update of the series Pavilion DV9000, DV9900 present as the current low-end configurations that make it an economical alternative to the existing 17-inch models HP Pavilion DV7.

The HP Pavilion dv9800 series is divided mainly into two groups: an entry-level (economic, AMD-based) and a high profile (high-performance, Intel-based). The DV9890EL felt part of that group of laptops, relying on a particularly rich hardware equipment, which includes a Blu-Ray movies in high definition on the screen or external LCD.

At the time of writing, the HP Pavilion DV9890EL has a list price of € 1,469.00 but you can find online promotional offers discounted to € 1,289.00 (VAT included).
