The new Panasonic Toughbook CF-53 is available in three versions, targeted to the world of mobile business, the field work force and the automotive sector.

Panasonic today announced Panasonic Toughbook CF-53, the latest in the category of semi-rugged notebook. The new model incorporates 16 years of experience in the design of Panasonic rugged notebook with the latest mobile technology in a semi-rugged design. Toughbook CF-53 is ideal for those who work in outdoor environments and is looking for a laptop that offers the same performance as a desktop device with a battery life that covers the whole day and the ability to withstand shocks and which usually falls "destroy" traditional business notebooks.

Toughbook CF-53 has been updated with the Intel Core i5-2520M second-generation vPro to increase performance, and with the Intel Express Chipset q67 for advanced multimedia functions. The new HD LED widescreen display 14-inch, anti-glare and anti-glare, allows optimum use both outdoors and indoors. The Toughbook CF-53 Touchscreen model is designed for those who need a touchscreen interface, suitable for outdoor use in bright ambient light, the unit includes a large screen HD resistive touch screen with high brightness circular polarizer can minimize the reflection of sunlight. Panasonic CircumLumin technology enables clear visibility in all conditions ranging from light to extreme conditions of total darkness.
