Medion Akoya Mini e1217, renewing the ultraportable
Most manufacturers that last year experienced the boom of the ultraportables are renewing their teams this year end. That yes, some do so with enough advance models, and the latest from Samsung, and others like Medion cling to maintain the price and subtly improve performance.
The Medion Akoya Mini e1217 basically increases the hard disk of its predecessor model, the Mini E1210, to double its capacity. Now, in this ultraportable have 250 GB hard drive. In its data sheet also can read the processor remains the Intel Atom N270, which comes with 10-inch screen mate type, weight of 1 kg and only 1 GB of RAM. The keyboard has separate keys and now there is a slight design change in their favor.
Welcomes the Akoya Mini e1217 Windows 7 Starter with good face to see if something can stretch the battery life, which by the weight of the equipment appears to three cells, very little for a team that wants what we use in mobility .
Last year it was acceptable for a $ 300 ultraportable, as this new model, could not boast of more autonomy, but with rivals putting the batteries (pun intended), lag behind in this area is to be a losing battle.
