Dell Compellent to buy 960 million dollars

Dell announced that it has acquired the company specialized in data storage Compellent. The operation cost the U.S. multinational far 960 million dollars.

For Dell, the acquisition of Compellent is a wonderful opportunity to get their hands on a fast growth, which specializes in storage solutions. Compellent will be fully integrated into the group as part of the portfolio dedicated data storage. This acquisition will complement the latest in chronological order: EMC, PowerVault and EqualLogic. The transaction is valued at 820 million dollars, without taking into account the liquidity of Compellent, for a total of 960 million dollars, or $ 27.75 per share.
